Hmm.. how time flies. From the day OCF Berwick was simply an idea - to this final step before it gets registered. God has indeed been good to us. Still, much prayer needed for the Monash Union of Berwick Students (MUBS) to finalised the remaining administration work.

I wanna blog this in - of what happened the past two weeks. On the 4th October (coincidentally, BB Day), OCF was allowed to get up a stall to recruit for members. What's to note is how strange it was to have a Club and Societies day so late towards the end of the semester. Through a series of fluke circumstances, God has opened the door for us to crucially recruit for members. Not that we needed more people, MUBS wanted to see how appealing OCF is to the student in Berwick Campus. Putting this need into perspective, it's evident that God opened this opportunity for us. The other crucial event was the 27 names (actually 30, minus Charlene, Ivie and the Chaplain - Glenda). We only needed 10, and 27 definately convinced MUBS that we're here to stay. It is also amazing to note that other clubs and societies struggled to get even one name registered but we have 27! How awesome is He?

The next thing to do was to have an AGM and the minutes recorded and submitted to MUBS. Thereafter, it's again in God's hands to have MUBS officialise us as one of the club and societies in Monash Berwick. The AGM would be one of our last meets as we're moving into the exam revision week. Focus would be on studies for now.. but I can't stop thinking of how good God has been to all of us... the friends that we made along the way.. and the opportunity to learn and to experience new things.

Boy, OCF Berwick is steadily becoming a BBQ club! I think it's our 3rd BBQ for the semester. Turnout for the AGM was poor due to the coming exams, but all we need was to do the meeting which was carried out smoothly.

Despite all the good things that's been happening, I've been taking several salvo's from the devil - spiritual attacks at my weakest spot. Yep, you guessed it - my studies. I've got back an assignment which didn't go well at all (having said that, praise God for the various D's and HD's for the other subjects). I really need your prayers to continue shining for God as well as to do well in my studies.

Oh God, help me to keep myself focused on You while continuing to shine for the things I do for Your glory. (Based on Luke 10: 38-41)
