It's been such an amazing year for me. In a foreign land over a long period of time, with only a couple of friends
initially can be quite a scary thing, especially if you constantly think about family, friends and the life we're missing back home. But I thank God for this family away from home..
In the beginning I though I'd be just coming to Australia to study, not serving or doing anything else. But how God had other plans for me and told me on my first night in OCF (after welcome night) that a break was not an option. Thank God for Jon's testimony, which I'm sure was also no coincidence that he shared that particular testimony about God dragging him to the OCF away from the ping pong club. It really realigned my priorities.
As for my wonderful cell group, eVOL, it has nothing short of a reflection of God's love shining on everyone of us. Thank God for this cell, especially the leaders such as Andrew for his unfailing commitment sending us messages time to time to encourages us despite exams and busy times. Jeremy Ye - a personality whom I'll deeply miss.. his spontenous character, his words of wisdom and his passion. Too bad I'd only known him for a year.
Well, a cell group isn't a cell group without it's members, making up it's unique personality and style.. so thank you my dear eVOLoninas - David, Sandra, Sophia, Hwei-Ming, Aswin, Jacklyn, Kuo Hau and Jason for being part of this group.
Also a special thanks to Hwei Sing (aka Jesslyn) who's been such a loving cell leader and friend to each one of us. As for me, I'm glad I've known you since long ago back home in Malaysia. It's such a joy to see you change so much (for the better of course) and thanks for always being there when I'm troubled or broke ($$).
Another special thanks to Deej, who's always been there for me during my early months here.. coming to the rescue of that ulu Malaysian guy.
Sounds like I'm writing a end year thanksgiving entry. No no! Refocus! It's supposed to be an entry thanking God for the things done for OCF.. the personal thanksgiving I'll mention again at the end of the year.
Well, the organisers for thanksgiving did an excellent job! The place was great for the occasion. Food was.. eatable.
The two emcees - Debbie and Ruo. Debbie's got a strong personality and her cute humour spontenously brings a smile to people around her. Ruo's got that too.. a different kind of humour (the kind I like - the type I can just enjoy and stare from a distance cause it's often sarcastically funny) and has done extremely well organising the enight.
Bernard Tee - The other BB members in OCF Clayton. Really glad he's around so I can talk BB stuff with.
Aun Ling - The shy looking girl who I enjoyed working with throughout enite in the production of the promo material. Thank God for her work.
Rachel Kam! Always kena bully by everyone.. but she's a really nice girl who doesn't how to say no to people (that's why always get bullied).
Melissa Leong - The "cool" person who still remains quite mysterious to me. Hope we'll get to know each other better. We might be colleagues in a few weeks time (I hope!)
Carmen Leong! My dear media team member! Soooooo much for both of us to do next sem. Really looking forward to working together with you. Your enthusiasm and passion to serve Him is quite an inspiration to all of us! Looking forward to next year, future homie.

Charmaine - I realise this.. you do wonder's with your hands. No matter which instrument, you're able to coat an atmosphere of worship on Holy grounds. It's not music you play (unless you're playing non-Christian songs), but you are God's instrument whose blessed all of us with your talents.

If there's one person's voice I'd steal - that'll be Robins! What a great CG leader and worship leader he's been.

Daniel Ong - My second homie next year. Did an excellent job bring God into the house everytime he worships. His friendship is what I appreciate most.. and I know there's much more to come.

Elaine Yap - The first Berwick face I saw (during the pre-departure briefing) and I'm so glad we're in the same campus, not leaving me to be the "That Berwick Student".
Charlene! - That great women of God. There's so much more to come and I thank God for her example for all of us. She's done an amazing thing for the DG and i'm sure all her DG members have been touched by her in many ways.
That's all for now till more pictures are up. Did I miss anyone out? Hmm.. I'm sure one will complain soon. Just wait.
