Started a new job under the same business.. basically deals with the delivery of curry puffs to several outlets and restaurants around Melbourne.
What's it like? Load the truck with over a dozen boxes of curry puffs (vegetarian, beef and chicken), drive to restaurants located at various suburbs, pass them the goods, give them an invoice, collect the cash, sign their invoice copy, go to Berwick, collect MORE curry puffs, head back to Clayton, unload the van's goods into Meeting Points freezer and call it a day. So far, that's the job. I think more things are to come as I learn the trade bit by bit.
I'm not sure if I wanna do this sorta thing right now cause it does require an amount of time to build relationships with customers hence inprove business. After all, I have exams to worry about right now. No time to play with this sorta stuff. At the moment I'm only required to make deliveries every Monday and Tuesdays with occasional Fridays. I'm also required to call customers to ask the quantities and amount of orders they need. Sounds easy.. but my first day trying this today was.. unpleasant. Not that the people weren't nice.. I just feel that this job isn't for me.
Let's just see if God wants me to be in this job.
