Three days to go to my first paper and I find myself doing the right thing at the wrong time (right thing = releasing stress and chilling out with friends).
Jem Lee, Josh and I went to Snappers Point (something like that) to fish, but the main objective of the day was to catch some crabs. It seem fool proof. All we had to do was rig up this crabbing net with some rotten meat, lower it down to the water.. and wait. It was almost a certainty we’d catch a few crabs.
We used chicken meat. Jem Lee left it rotting for a couple of days.. damn smelly.. but it was necessary to attract out prey. The net was pulled out of the water every 15 minutes, but most of the time it yielded nothing… except this one time we caught a star fish and a baby snapper.
Does this officially end our loosing streak? I don’t think this even counts as a catch.. but at least it was something!
Back to the drawing board. Exams first.
