  • Heading Down Richmond One Sunday Morning

I was gonna late for church this morning. After a few complications leaving the house, Ben and I barely missed the train. We got unto the next one and I was hoping I could be in time to catch the trams heading to Richmond. I decided to hop off at Central and tram down Swansons, thinking that it'll be quicker than taking the tram. I failed to get there on time. It was 9.48am, the tram left about 5 minutes ago. The next tram was due at around 10am, the time service would commence. I just knew I was gonna be at least 15 minutes late.

Waiting anxiously at the tram stop in between traffic along Flinder's Street, I spoke to God.. asking Him, "Lord, make a way for me la..". The second later I heard a voice, "Voon!". In disbelief I looked behind and saw Sue Ann with her car held up at the traffic junction. She waved me to hop in and managed to arrive at Richmond on time.

I was so awe struck at what happened. I never had a prayer answered this quickly before. The timing of it all.. the moment after I asked God, He answered immediate, just as any conversation would progress. God is truly great!

Never doubt God's existence, and He is with you always.

  • Starting an Assignment - A common tale

This is the normal way of an average grade university student starting his assignment.

Alarm set at 10am, generally the snooze feature will be working for about an hourbefore I raise the white flag and hop off the bed. Washes up.. fixes up breakfast with a hot cup of coffee. Sit in front of computer to watch a show while eating.. and decides to finish up watching the whole show. After finishing, decides to do laundry.. and lazes around abit to read the news. Checks the shelve for some chips and salsa and realizes they ran out. Decides to head down to the supermarket to replenish my supply of junk food. Cycled home, took a bath.. and it was already dinner.. with the same meal-watch TV process. Finally sat in front of the desk and opens a blank page on MS Word, glances at the time - midnight, 12am. Time for bed.

  • Easter Camp

My first camp in Melbourne, Australia.. my first OCF camp.. and also my first non-BB camp since secondary school (if you minus the World Vision Famine thing). Boy, it sure was fun.. meeting new people from other OCF centers. We were there from the 6-9th April 2007 at nice country side town called Rawson's Village.
